Description
To meet specific customers requirements, ATMI LifeSciences offers a range of cleanroom manufactured foil laminates or multilayer coextruded films.
Our moisture vapor barrier packaging is generally constructed in three layers (aluminum between the inner and outer layer) which are bonded together to create a strong, flexible and water-resistant product.
An aluminum layer is laminated between the outer layer (Tyvek® , polyamide or polyester) and the outer layer of polypropylene or biaxially-oriented polyethylene. The outer layer provides a barrier that is resistant to tearing and also protects from abrasions. The inner, heat-sealable layer provides an additional moisture barrier.
Our dry packaging has been designed to withstand nitrogen flushing, hard shipping and handling procedures. By reflecting light and heat, it helps control the temperature of the proÒduct in the package.
Barrier packaging is ideal for all products that require protection against climatic, physical and biological damage
(Ex: pharmaceuticals).
ATMI LifeSciences also offers blown extruded barrier films in transparent and opaque versions.
