In pharmaceutical powder packaging, maximum product recovery and the elimination of potential powder explosion due to the built up of static charges are the key elements that create the need for antistatic PE packaging.
Traditional antistatic LDPE however has often proven to be a bad trade-off because of some negative side effects like short shelf life and material born contamination due to the migrating antistatic agent that is used in the manufacturing process of the film.
ATMI has overcome these issues with the development of its Permanent Antistatic LDPE film that on top owns a full range of medical compliances.
Supported by a cGMP compliant quality approach, our ultra clean extrusion technology and the conversion of our permanent antistatic film into the desired end product in our state of the art ISO Class 5 cleanrooms, we guarantee a long shelf life antistatic packaging product that is safe, pure and effective.
All our permanent antistatic products, whether it are bags, drum liners, tubes, sheets or customized shapes, are gamma sterilizable or can be delivered pre-sterilized upon request.
